The 30th China International Pet Show (CIPS 2026) will be held at China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou) from November 12 to 15, 2026.

With 29 years of development, CIPS has evolved from a single exhibition into a vital platform connecting the global pet and aquarium industry. It brings together manufacturers and traders, hosts new product launches and trade matchmaking, and enables efficient flow of industry trends and information within one venue.

Three Years of Cultivation


Since the launch of the sustainable development initiative“Green Paw Prints, Love For Earth”for the first time at the 27th China International Pet Show in December 2023, with the selection of the initial 3“Sustainable Development Pioneer”enterprises, a new chapter of sustainable development in the industry officially began. The initiative has gained growing momentum ever since.The second edition expanded the“Sustainable Development Pioneer”roster from 3 to 9 enterprises, reflecting the industry’s growing commitment to and achievements in sustainable transition.The third edition last year welcomed 16 participating enterprises, including overseas exhibitors for the first time, marking a notable rise in the international influence of this sustainability initiative.

A Call to Industry Peers

CIPS releases environmental protection posters and advocacy campaigns on key dates annually, such as Earth Day and World Oceans Day, fulfilling its social responsibility for sustainable development.

  • April 2024 (Earth Day): Partnered with PetQuip (the UK’s leading trade association for pet product manufacturers and suppliers) to launch the initiative, deepening global consensus on environmental protection within the pet industry.

  • June 2024 (World Oceans Day): Published the article Awaken New Depths to raise public awareness of ocean conservation and a sustainable future.

  • September 2024: Artist Xi Min presented sustainability‑themed artworks to support the second “Green Paw Prints, Love For Earth” campaign, injecting creativity and inspiration into sustainable actions.

  • April 2025: Further deepened strategic cooperation with PetQuip and co‑launched the initiative “Our Energy Our Planet”, advocating sustainable production practices.

  • June 2025: Collaborated with aquarium exhibitors for the first time to mark World Oceans Day, releasing the annual themed poster Curiosity: Sustaining What Sustaining Us and calling on all sectors of society to engage in ocean conservation.

Driving Global Sustainability Partnerships

Since 2023, cooperation between CIPS and PetQuip has continued to deepen.

  • October 2023: CIPS became the special sponsor of the Sustainable Award at the 11th PetQuip Awards, demonstrating its dedication to industry sustainability.

  • September 2024: Yu Hong, Project Director of China International Pet Show, attended the PetQuip Awards ceremony, witnessing the honorees alongside global experts and enterprises, honoring its commitment to sustainable development.

  • September 2025: Having sponsored the PetQuip Awards Sustainability Award for three consecutive years, CIPS expanded collaboration further. Through resource integration and platform sharing, it facilitates two‑way market linkages between Chinese and British enterprises, advancing in‑depth cooperation including standard‑setting, technological innovation and market integration, driving the pet industry from “sustainability” toward “high‑quality development”.

The 30th China International Pet Show will host the 4th “Green Paw Prints, Love For Earth sustainable development initiative. Exhibitors committed to sustainability are invited to leverage this international exhibition platform to boost cross‑industry communication, showcase sustainable development opportunities, share cutting‑edge concepts and fuel industrial growth.

The 4th “Green Paw Print, Love For Earth”will take place at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou from November 12 to 15, 2026.

Continuing last year’s successful practice, this year’s sustainability zone will be situated along the Pearl River Promenade, a core passage. Praised by both visitors and exhibitors last edition, this prime location will once again serve as the main venue for “Sustainable Development Pioneer” enterprises, ensuring sustainable products reach core buyers directly with maximum exposure and interaction.

Professional Evaluation

Jointly assessed by CIPS and international professional institutions, applications are reviewed based on enterprises’ sustainable product achievements, including:

  • Reduced carbon emissions and carbon footprints

  • Adoption of eco‑friendly raw materials and packaging upgrades

  • Environmentally optimized supply chains and raw material sourcing

  • Waste reduction in production, packaging and other processesRelevant product certification documents are also required for evaluation.

Limited Spots Available

This is a free public‑welfare initiative with no participation fees, designed to support sustainable‑focused exhibitors to connect and innovate via the international exhibition platform.


Shortlisted products will receive dedicated display space in the showcase zone along the Pearl River Promenade and a sustainability trophy. Notably, we encourage continuous innovation in sustainability. Re‑submissions of previously featured products must demonstrate substantial progress in sustainability, such as upgraded materials, processes or production methods, rather than superficial changes including only appearance design. We look forward to groundbreaking, forward‑thinking sustainable innovations.
