As the year draws to a close, looking back on the exchanges and docking activities throughout the year, 2025 has left a wealth of authentic and concrete industry experiences for the China International Pet Show (CIPS).
As a professional B2B trade platform for the global pet and aquarium industry, the China International Pet Show (CIPS), was launched in 1997. After 28 years of development, it has evolved into a global barometer for the development of the pet industry. Long focused on international procurement matching, industrial exchanges and industry trend demonstrations, the platform adheres to its core positioning of Buying Globally, Selling Globally. It continuously connects domestic manufacturers, brand owners and professional buyers from different countries and regions, and builds a stable and efficient scenario for international trade communication.

Do you still remember the 29th China International Pet Show (CIPS 2025) that concluded last November? Officially launched with the theme of INFINITY back then, it was envisioned as the start of an exploration. Now, as we stand at the end of 2025 and look back on the entire year, we realize that INFINITY was not a predefined goal, but a result gradually forged through a series of authentic business matchings and exchanges. It not only reflects the platform’s scalability and openness built on a stable structure, but also serves as the most fitting footnote for this year. This is not merely a thematic echo from the opening to the closing of an exhibition; it is an industry report co-written by CIPS and all its fellow travelers.


In 2025, CIPS further deepened its international influence, attracting professional visitors from 125 countries and regions for exchanges. The cumulative attendance during the exhibition reached 84,890, representing a 21% increase year-on-year, and generating more active procurement demands on-site. As the scale of international visitors continued to expand, the focus of on-site procurement and exchanges gradually shifted to areas that were different from previous years.
While mature markets such as Europe and the United States maintained a stable procurement pace, the consulting activity from emerging markets including the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America and Africa saw a marked rise. Buyers from different regions demonstrated clearer focus on product types, price ranges, minimum order quantities and delivery capabilities, with their communication becoming more direct and specific. The concurrent emergence of demands from multiple regions drove procurement and exchanges to focus more on actionable cooperation details, rather than remaining at the initial inquiry stage.

Under this structure, opportunities did not stem from the volume growth of a single market, but were continuously unlocked through concentrated matchmaking within a defined time and space against the backdrop of simultaneous demands from multiple regions. The value of the exhibition is reflected more in helping both suppliers and buyers make effective decisions within a limited period, ensuring that every gathering anchors a clear direction for future development.

The core essence of INFINITY lies in relentless exploration. Centering on the development direction of the industrial chain, CIPS 2025 continued to strengthen its functions of new product display and trend exchange, providing the industry with a window for observable and discussable trend insights.
The exhibition covered multiple niche segments including dogs and cats, aquatic pets, exotic pets and small companion animals, with 1,230 participating enterprises showcasing their new products and solutions in a concentrated manner. As key display sections, the NEWⁿ New Product Showcase focused on annual new products and technological directions, while the 3rd Green Paw Print, Love For Earth Sustainable Theme Event offered practical cases for comparison and discussion from the dimensions of material selection, technological pathways and responsible supply chains. Smart pet supplies, functional pet food, sustainable materials and supply chain stability emerged as high-frequency topics in on-site exchanges, with new products moving beyond mere display to enter actual procurement contexts, subject to direct feedback and evaluation from buyers across different markets.
In the meantime, over 40 conferences, events and professional competitions were held concurrently with the exhibition. These events conducted systematic exchanges around industry trends, application scenarios, technological approaches and policy orientations. Through continuous discussions involving multiple topics and stakeholders, trend judgments were no longer confined to the conceptual level, but gradually clarified through repeated dialogues and verifications, turning "Infinite New Trends" into a driving force for the industry’s progress.

Trust is the cornerstone of business opportunities, and cooperation is the bridge to win-win outcomes. From a trade perspective, CIPS maintained a high density of exchanges in 2025. Data shows that over 94% of participating enterprises established new business contacts during the exhibition, and continued to advance communication and matchmaking during and after the event.
At the same time, procurement behaviors demonstrated more rational characteristics. During negotiations, buyers no longer took price as the core criterion for judgment, but paid greater attention to delivery capacity, response efficiency, compliance status and long-term cooperation stability. The proportion of one-off transactions decreased, while the intention for multiple rounds of communication and long-term cooperation increased significantly.
For the platform, business opportunities are no longer reflected solely in short-term transaction results, but in whether it creates a credible starting point for sustainable cooperation. This is the most practical value of B2B exhibitions at the current stage, and also the most authentic interpretation of "Infinite Business Opportunities".

If Infinite Opportunities is the starting point, Infinite New Trends is the direction, and Infinite Business Opportunities is the gain, then the most precious legacy that 2025 has left to the industry is the Infinite Possibilities derived from the platform’s continuous growth.
From the perspective of platform operation, CIPS 2025 continued to optimize exhibition services, event organization and professional visitor invitation. By adjusting exhibition zone structure, content arrangement and matchmaking methods, the platform further improved its operational efficiency and participant experience. Participants of different categories, scales and market backgrounds conducted concentrated exchanges on the same platform, enabling the diversity and complexity of the industry to be truly presented. The parallel advancement of trade matchmaking, trend exchanges and professional competitions provided enterprises with more valuable on-site scenarios for understanding market changes and evaluating cooperation paths.
