Earth Day, observed annually on April 22, is a global event dedicated to environmental protection. It aims to raise public awareness of environmental challenges and encourage active participation in green initiatives. Since its launch in 1970, Earth Day has grown into the largest grassroots environmental movement in the world, engaging over 1 billion participants across 192 countries each year.

Earth is the shared home of all humanity. Now more than ever, we must protect our planet’s natural resources and commit to a sustainable development model. A shift toward a greener, more sustainable economy is both urgent and necessary.

In celebration of Earth Day, CIPS (China International Pet Show) and the UK’s PetQuip (The Pet Equipment Trade Association) continue to strengthen their strategic partnership to advance sustainability within the global pet industry. As a longstanding sponsor of the PetQuip Sustainability Awards, CIPS actively supports and promotes environmentally responsible innovation across the sector.

This year, CIPS and PetQuip jointly launch the initiative “Our Energy, Our Planet” championing eco-friendly production and responsible practices. The collaboration not only reflects the two parties’ unwavering commitment to sustainability but also serves as a powerful example for the industry’s green transformation worldwide.

The third edition of the “GREEN PAW PRINTS  LOVE FOR EARTH” sustainability campaign will return as a featured highlight of CIPS 2025, the 29th China International Pet Show. The event will once again offer an interactive platform to spotlight sustainable development, facilitate global exchange, and inspire innovation within the pet sector.
