The 29th China International Pet Show (CIPS 2025, hereinafter referred to as "CIPS") will take place from November 13–16, 2025, at Area B of the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou (hereinafter referred to as the "Canton Fair Complex").

Today, CIPS officially enters the 200-day countdown! Over the past 28 years, CIPS has become a global barometer for the pet industry, a launch platform for new products, a professional venue for trade deals, and a bridge for international exchanges among industry professionals. Leveraging its role as a vital matchmaking platform along the industrial chain, CIPS gathers leading manufacturers and traders from the global pet and aquatic industries. It builds an international marketing platform through the exhibition, attracting industry players for trade negotiations, new product sourcing, and updates on the latest trends and developments.

China’s pet industry has seen steady growth in recent years, with the urban dog and cat market exceeding RMB 300 billion in 2024. As domestic competition intensifies, more companies are eyeing overseas markets for new growth opportunities. Against this backdrop, going global has become a key strategic choice for the industry. As a major platform for business development, CIPS—with its international resources and professional buyer network—serves as the ideal springboard for companies expanding abroad.

The upcoming 29th edition of CIPS will center around the theme of “INFINITY,” a concept brimming with power and possibility, just like the flourishing pet industry—an industry without fixed boundaries but full of unlimited potential. As one of the most complete industrial chain trade shows globally, CIPS features over 1,000 leading companies with strong R&D capabilities, covering 70% of the global market share. More than 80% of the exhibitors possess design and manufacturing capabilities, producing high-quality products that meet the standards of diverse global markets. The exhibition spans the full range of categories, including cats, dogs, aquatic, reptiles, small pets, exotic pets, and birds. It brings together innovations in products, smart technologies, and sustainability initiatives to offer visitors a grand showcase of technological advancements and creativity within the pet and aquatic industries.

Currently, nearly 1,400 companies have applied to exhibit, with 93% of the booth space already reserved, reaching 120% of the historical progress at the same point in time.

As of now, more than 2,200 international visitors from 120 countries and regions—including the United States, Indonesia, Malaysia, Algeria, Fiji, Canada, Thailand, Mauritius, South Africa, Singapore, and Italy—have registered to attend, marking a 149% increase compared to previous years. Among them are renowned international distributors, importers, exporters, and pet category buyers, offering exhibitors abundant commercial cooperation opportunities.

In the aquatic section, the 2nd Aquatic Industry Convention will collaborate with the Ornamental Fish International (OFI) to deliver in-depth discussions and trend forecasts on key aquatic topics. As a flagship event for the aquatic industry, CIPS will continue promoting ornamental fish culture and industry upgrading. The exhibition will gather more than 15 top-level competitions, including the prestigious CIPS Global Ornamental Fish Championship and the outstanding CIPS International Aquascaping Contest (CMAC).

In addition, with the continued expansion of the amphibian, reptile, and small pet communities driven by upgraded consumer demands, these sectors have emerged as new blue oceans within the pet economy. This year, CIPS will further enhance its exotic pet sector by building a high-quality zone integrating science education, creative exhibitions, and industry networking. The newly launched CIPS International Exotic Pet Competition & Aquascaping Contest will serve as the core highlight.
