Q1

Please introduce yourself briefly

Hello, I'm Acho Choky, my nickname is Acho. I come from eastern Indonesia, precisely in the city of Makassar - South Sulawesi.

I am a freelance photographer, and I really like traveling to enjoy natural scenery which sometimes inspires me to pour a landscape theme into my aquarium tank.

To find out about the great wall cup game, I always try to create a theme that looks different and has a strong characteristic impression, and as much as possible can attract attention.

Q2

Where did the inspiration for the winning entry come from?

I am always inspired by natural scenery, the forest where I visit, the unique landscape. Then I combine it with the imagination in my mind. Sometimes the concept I create is only from my own imagination.

Q3

What was a particularly memorable event or challenge you encountered during the creation of this work?

The most unforgettable thing is the process when exploring the island or in the forest looking for materials or materials that I will use for my hardscape, a lot of time and energy are drained, sometimes I have difficulty at the location where I take the materials and hardscape materials.

Q4

What are some of the things you need to pay attention to in terms of daily maintenance of the works you create?

Also, can you also share with us some photo tips on how to better capture and show the unique charm of your works?

I do routine virgins such as changing the water by 70-90% once a week. giving macro & micro fertilizers twice a week, and pruning plants that are too dense.

for photo tricks, I wait for the moment when the plants are in a mature condition and when they are photosynthesizing. I use a DSLR camera with a lens angle in the range of 35mm f / 9, with 1 studio light & 1 speedlite for background light.

Q5

Congratulations on winning!

Please share your acceptance speech

I am very happy with my grand champion achievement this year. I am very grateful to everyone who has supported and prayed for me. and also all is hard work and totality in working, and most importantly all thanks to the will of ALLAH SWT.

Q6

What new plans or goals do you have for the future in terms of creativity in the field of aquascape art?

I have plans in the coming year to continue to try my best to create different works from previous years.

Q7

How many CIPS events have you participated in so far?

What do you think are its unique features or highlights?

Also, if you have something you would like to say to the organisers, please do not hesitate to share it.

I have participated in the CIAC competition for the past 3 years, and only this year did I get the grand champion great wall cup.

in my opinion the features in the great wall cup competition are very good overall, but unfortunately there is no work magazine made by the organizer like other international contests. also input so that next year the organizers hold a live setting event for the top 3 winners. also for cash prizes that are not like previous years

sorry in advance, I want to ask, will the CIAC prize be changed back to the previous year next year?

I personally represent my fellow Indonesian scapers, hoping that the CIAC Aquascape Competition will always maintain consistency in international competitions. continue to display the best and most impressive works.
