There are more than 1,100 pet grooming studios in the city, more than 3,000 studios in the province, and the city’s annual sales in grooming is about 310 million yuan. According to preliminary statistics, the annual pet economy in Henan is at least 1.55-165 billion yuan.

In addition, Zhengzhou is also one of the largest ornamental fish consumption and trading markets in the country. Relying on the unique geographical advantages and natural conditions, Zhengzhou ornamental fish farming is oriented in species such as koi, goldfish, red grass, and ornamental turtles, which has stimulated aquatic equipment industry, aquatic plant landscaping, bait and other related industries.
