The 25th China International Pet Show (CIPS 2021) Online Trade Show Post-Show Report

The Online Trade Show (https://online.cipscom.com/) of The 25th China International Pet Show (CIPS 2021) was successfully held from November 17 to 20, 2021.

The Online Trade Show that lasted for four days, with more than 600 exhibitors, attracted pet manufacturers, brands, buyers, and service providers across the world.

During CIPS Online Trade Show, more than 600 exhibitors from all over the world participated and provided more than 6000 products, of which new products accounted for 35% and boutique products accounted for 45%. The digital platform of CIPS can be viewed any time.

The CIPS Online Trade Show analyze portraits of exhibitors and buyers to perceive the best match for each other, as well as recommend more accurate products for the users. 

The Online show attracts buyers from 73 countries and regions. The top 20 countries and regions of buyers are: China, Germany, Hong Kong, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Britain, Italy, Brazil, Taiwan, Spain, Macau, and Singapore, India, Australia, Malaysia, Ukraine, France, France. Germany, the United States, Japan, South Korea, and Russia remain active international markets. Buyers from Brazil, New Zealand, Ukraine, Mexico, and Canada have become more active.

The pet industry in Asia is still full of potential. According to incomplete statistics, buyers of the CIPS Online Trade Show this year have purchased a total of more than 265.2 billion yuan. CIPS has arranged several match meeting via zoom to connect buyers and suppliers accurately.

The Global Pet Asia Forum (GPFA), which attracts worldwide attention, was also held online at the same time. The conference was jointly organized by CIPS and GlobalPETS. Keynote speakers from France, Germany, China, Italy, the United States, and the Netherlands deeply analyzed the "opportunities and challenges of the global pet industry after the epidemic" and shared the global pet industry insight and future trends in the post-epidemic era. 

Innovation and new product launches have always been the focus of CIPS.

In 2017, the world's first pet innovation award, the CIPS Innovation Award, was co-founded by CIPS and PETS International. The award aims to encourage pet manufacturers to produce more innovative products and guide the healthy development of the industry. The 2021 CIPS Innovation Award was jointly selected by a jury of domestic and foreign experts. A total of 18 products won awards in 6 categories including food, ingredients and additives, snacks, design, supplies and equipment, and aquarium. CIPS is an annual gathering of the pet industry. 2021 is the second year that the CIPS Innovation Award ceremony held online. It is a new attempt during the epidemic and opens up a new trading platform model in the current environment.

The 26th China International Pet Show (CIPS 2022) will be held from November 17 to 20, 2022, in Import and Export Fair Complex Guangzhou, China. CIPS will continue to build a platform for communication between Chinese and international pet professionals, promoting international cooperation, leading the healthy and sustainable development of the industry.
