The 30th China International Pe Show (CIPS 2026), will be held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex (Canton Fair Complex) in Guangzhou from November 12 to 15, 2026.
With 29 years of development, CIPS has evolved from a single exhibition into a vital platform connecting the global pet and aquarium industries. It brings together manufacturers and traders, hosts new product launches and trade matchmaking, and enables efficient exchange of industry trends and information.
New Dilemmas & New Opportunities for Global Pet E-commerce
As homogenized competition intensifies in China’s pet e-commerce sector, traffic growth hits a ceiling. Price wars and traffic battles keep squeezing profit margins while customer acquisition costs keep rising, resulting in sluggish growth for traditional business lines. Reliance on low pricing and bestseller strategies can no longer fuel sustainable growth, pushing the entire industry to seek new avenues for development.
Against the backdrop of the Pet Export 2.0 era, emerging markets including Southeast Asia, Latin America and the Middle East present remarkable opportunities, while mature markets in Europe and America still hold potential for refined development. Nevertheless, complicated regional regulations, differences in cross-platform operations, as well as high logistics and compliance costs have become major hurdles for pet enterprises going global.
Meanwhile, refined operation capabilities, market expansion in emerging cross-border regions and lifecycle management of private domain users have become key factors for business differentiation. Substantial structural opportunities remain in segments such as smart pet products, health food and compliant live animal trade.
