In recent years, the global pet industry has been moving beyond product-level competition. Across supply chains, regulation, channel efficiency, brand globalization, and sustainability, the industry is entering a new phase shaped by deeper structural changes.
Against this backdrop, the International Pet Conference 2026 will take place from 13–14 October 2026 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
As one of Europe’s representative international conference platforms for the pet industry, IPC brings together industry leaders, brands, retailers, associations, and global platforms to discuss market changes, international supply chains, retail channels, brand development, and cross-border collaboration.

In 2026, the China International Pet Show (CIPS) will officially serve as the China Partner of IPC 2026 and will participate in the international round table discussion “Global Pet Trade Shows: What’s Next?”
01 A Conference Platform Built Around Industry Dialogue
Unlike large-scale trade shows centered primarily on product display, IPC places greater emphasis on thought leadership, market insights, and high-quality networking.

The 2026 edition is expected to bring together 200+ international participants, 20+ speakers, and senior representatives from pet brands, retail channels, industry organizations, and international platforms. The conference will feature keynote speeches, round table discussions, networking sessions, coffee breaks, and an evening event.
One of IPC’s key values is its strong focus on meaningful business exchange, highlighted by the concept of “1,000+ one-to-one meetings.”
Compared with brief conversations at traditional trade shows, IPC creates more opportunities for in-depth discussions around market changes, international cooperation, channel development, and the future direction of the pet industry.
02 What IPC 2026 Will Focus On
The agenda of IPC 2026 reflects the changing priorities of the global pet industry. Rather than focusing only on individual products or consumer trends, the conference will explore broader topics related to supply chains, regulation, retail efficiency, and structural market transformation.

Key topics include:
Sustainable sourcing and supply chains
Alternative proteins
Changes in the European pet market
Retail growth and mergers & acquisitions
The future of global pet trade shows
International market collaboration and channel transformation
The round table “Global Pet Trade Shows: What’s Next?” will bring together leading international pet trade show platforms, including Interzoo, Zoomark, and CIPS, to discuss how global industry platforms can evolve in response to market changes and new forms of international cooperation.
Bringing Global Industry Platforms Together
International companies and organizations such as Nestlé Purina PetCare, VAFO Group, Pet Network International, Musti Group, and the European Pet Organization (EPO) are among the confirmed participants of IPC 2026. International trade show platforms including Interzoo and Zoomark will also take part in the conference discussions.

As part of the international round table, CIPS will join global industry platforms to exchange views on the future of pet trade shows, international market development, and cross-border industry collaboration.
Through this partnership, CIPS will further strengthen its connection with the global pet industry and continue to serve as a bridge between China’s pet supply chain and international markets.
