2025 "CIPS Cup" AARA National Amphibians and Reptiles Professlonal Champlonship League: Inaugural Lizard Category (Grand Finale) Results Announcement

Date: 2026-01-27

On November 16, 2025, the 4-day 29th China International Pet Show (CIPS 2025), concluded successfully at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. As a global benchmark for the pet industry and Asia's largest professional pet and aquarium exhibition, CIPS specially launched the "CIPS Cup" AARA National Amphibians and Reptiles Professlonal Champlonship League: Inaugural Lizard Category Event this year. Sponsored by CIPS and co-sponsored by CLEEN as the title partner, this event served as the grand finale of the 2025 competition series hosted by the Amphibian and Reptile Branch of the China Small Animal Protection Association.

Overview of CIPS & AARA

With over 20 years of deep involvement in the industry, the CIPS 2025 covered an exhibition area exceeding 100,000 square meters. It attracted more than 1,200 participating brands from over 125 countries and regions worldwide, as well as over 80,000 professional visitors (including distributors, pet stores, breeding institutions, and representatives of industry associations). As a core professional competition of the exhibition, the "CIPS Cup" AARA, with the strong support of CLEEN, stood out as the most watched segmented event at this year's CIPS, thanks to its advantages of "high-standard jury, strict competition criteria, and extensive resource integration". It drew attention not only from domestic enthusiasts but also from foreign participants across the ocean.

The enthusiasm of the audience ignited the competition atmosphere, while the professionalism of the judges laid a solid foundation for the industry's development. A team of domestic and international judges delivered precise rulings with their profound expertise, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience. The outstanding performance of Chinese judges, in particular, showcased the glory and strength of China's amphibian and reptile industry!

The "star lizard lineup" at the competition was of exceptional quality. Participants brought top-tier lizard contestants from across the country, including rare mutated individuals with high market value and purebred fine specimens. From scale texture and body proportions to genetic stability, all these lizards met high industry standards. These "top contestants", embodying the dedication and efforts of their breeders, not only demonstrated the professional height of China's amphibian and reptile breeding but also allowed the on-site audience to intuitively experience the unique charm of reptile pets!

For every participant, this league was not only a platform to compete for strength but also an excellent opportunity for brand promotion. With the attention of over 80,000 professional visitors, the high-quality breeding achievements of the contestants gained widespread recognition rapidly. This not only enhanced the reputation of their own breeding brands but also opened up new doors for future business cooperation.
