As a professionally influential exhibition platform in China's pet industry, CIPS has always been committed to promoting the positive development of the industry and conveying the concept of harmony between humans and pets. At the just-concluded CIPS 2025, we not only presented cutting-edge industry dynamics and industrial trends, but also collaborated with the PFH City Partner Program to jointly hold a professional therapy dog assessment activity, supporting the development of animal-assisted therapy with practical actions.

During this exhibition, the PFH Healing Paws Therapy Dog Assessment in South China was successfully held on November 14. A number of caring families brought their dogs to participate in the assessment, and qualified therapy dog partners were selected through the evaluation.
Mr. Cheng Xiang, General Manager of China Great Wall International Exhibition Co., Ltd., delivered a speech for the event and announced the official start of the assessment.

Subsequently, Mr. Wu Qi gave a detailed introduction to the service groups of therapy animals and the strict assessment criteria.

The assessment strictly followed standardized procedures, conducting systematic evaluations around the dog's basic etiquette, socialization performance, stress tests, and interaction willingness, aiming to scientifically select therapy dog candidates with potential for social services.

Meanwhile, the team of Wu Qi's Pet Studio conducted scenario demonstrations of animal-assisted interventions on site, vividly showing the application of therapy dogs in public welfare scenarios such as psychological support and emotional companionship, which attracted many audiences to stop and watch and communicate.

CIPS has always believed that pets are not only family partners, but also can become an important force to support special groups. By building such a professional platform, it helps the deep integration of public welfare undertakings and the pet industry.
The successful completion of this assessment not only provides professional support for the construction of the therapy dog public welfare service system, but also adds a warm footnote to the human-pet friendly atmosphere in Guangzhou. In the future, tCIPS will continue to open up platform resources, support industry activities with public welfare attributes and scientific concepts, and work with all parties to build a more inclusive and warm pet-friendly society.

We look forward to joining hands with more like-minded institutions, brands and pet lovers to continuously convey care and responsibility while displaying industry achievements, and promote the healthy, warm and benevolent development of China's pet industry.
