Assemble Experts to Explore the Trends

The China International Pet Show (CIPS), in collaboration with the internationally recognized media PETS International, jointly established the global innovation award within the global pet and aquarium industry in 2017 – the "CIPS Innovation Award." This year, 21 products selected by a joint panel of domestic and international judges won awards in four categories, and two additional products were awarded the Popular New Product Award, voted on by both domestic and international professional visitors. The award aims to set new industry standards, encourage more companies to pursue innovation and development, foster new competitive advantages, and fully showcase the evolving landscape of the pet industry.

As an important and innovative part of the exhibition, the second 'Green Paw Prints, Love for Earth' sustainable development-themed event has made a significant impact. From the birth of the first 'Green Pioneer' to the addition of more 'Green Pioneers,' it has set a model for industry action, sparked a sustainability trend, and injected strong momentum into the sustainable development of the pet industry. This year's event specially invited a young artist to present creative works, including the ancient mythical beast 'Chaofeng,' in the sustainable area, displayed alongside 'Green Pioneer' products. Together, they express their unique love for the Earth.

Over the four days of the exhibition, a total of six professional conferences were held, where industry leaders gathered in Guangzhou to exchange ideas, explore cutting-edge industry trends, and provide in-depth insights that empower the industry's growth.

The 3rd Global Pet Industry E-commerce Conference invited experts from platforms such as Amazon, TikTok, Lazada, Shopee, Useepay, Shipper, Tmall and Taobao, Xiaohongshu (Red), Douyin, JD.com, Alipay, and WeChat Shipinhao for pet e-commerce professionals worldwide to explore how to seize opportunities and tackle challenges amid the rapid growth of the global pet e-commerce sector. The conference aimed to promote the cluster development of China's pet industry and facilitate the construction of an ecosystem for the pet sector, empowering its overall development.

The CIPS & YUGUO Cross-border E-commerce Pet Supplies Sharing Seminar gathered officials from cross-border platforms, industry leaders, and influential manufacturers. By providing authoritative industry insights, showcasing cutting-edge products, and facilitating efficient resource connections, the seminar helped cross-border sellers accurately understand market dynamics and embark on a new chapter for pet product exports.

The Aquarium Industry Development Conference has invited representatives from platforms such as Douyin, Xiaohongshu, and Weipaitang to share insights on aquarium industry trends, new business support policies, e-commerce opportunities, and the latest information on aquarium auctions.

Notably, the conference has also attracted internationally renowned figures, including the President of the Malaysian Arowana Association, the President of the Indonesian Arowana Association, a leading expert in Indonesian exotic fish, the President of the Ornamental Fish International, the President of the Korean Ornamental Fish Association, and the Secretary-General of the Japan Medaka Association, to engage in in-depth discussions on the international ornamental fish industry. The participation of these international guests has undoubtedly brought more diversity and perspectives to the Aquarium Industry Development Conference. Through exchanges with these global experts, professionals in China's aquarium industry have gained valuable insights, helping to advance the internationalization of the Chinese aquarium industry while providing domestic enterprises with a platform and opportunities to align with international markets.
