The two-month countdown has begun, and anticipation is at its peak! As the annual grand event of the global pet and aquarium industry, the 29th China International Pet Show (CIPS 2025) will grandly open at Area B of China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou from November 13 to 16. Since its founding in 1997, China International Pet Show has gone through nearly 30 years, growing from a regional exhibition to a crucial meeting point for the global pet and aquarium industry. With the theme of "INFINITY", this year's show signifies connecting the world and exploring the future, while also upholding the show's mission of "centering on the industry".
01 | Global Buyers Gather
Scale Breaks Records, B2B Matching Upgraded Comprehensively
As of the end of August, over 30,000 professional visitors from more than 120 countries and regions have registered for this year's China International Pet Show, among which 26% are first-time participants—representing an overall year-on-year increase of over 30% compared to the same period last year. The show not only continues to grow in scale but also excels in the structure and quality of buyers, gathering a group of core, professional buyers with real purchasing power, such as Fressnapf (Europe's largest pet retail group), Cobasi (a leading chain in Brazil), Plaček (a major distributor in Central and Eastern Europe), Dohse Aquaristik (a professional German aquarium enterprise), and PetSmart (North America's largest pet chain retailer). In addition to these industry leaders, professional visitors from emerging markets including the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Africa will also attend, jointly forming a cross-regional and multi-level global procurement network. As the preferred platform for global buyers to explore new markets, China International Pet Show will continue to provide high-quality services for international buyers.
Against the backdrop of the expanding scale of professional visitors, the B2B trade matching meetings will be a key highlight of the show. By combining pre-show online mutual selection with in-show face-to-face negotiations, China International Pet Show will arrange multiple rounds of talks from November 13 to 15, helping exhibitors achieve efficient and precise communication with various buyers, including domestic and foreign large-scale purchasers and cross-border e-commerce buyers. Since its first launch last year, this mechanism has been gradually optimized, and it will be further refined this year to transform cooperation from accidental encounters into targeted connections.
02 | A Stage for Full-Range Categories
Covering the Entire Industry Chain, with Clear Trends Visible
This year's China International Pet Show will welcome over 1,200 high-quality exhibitors, among which more than 80% have integrated R&D, design, and manufacturing capabilities, and their products have long covered approximately 70% of the global market share. The show comprehensively covers all categories including cats & dogs, aquariums, reptiles, small pets, exotic pets, and birds, centrally presenting the rich ecosystem of the entire pet and aquarium industry chain.
The exhibition highlights and product innovation directions of this year's exhibitors collectively reflect the following trends:
- Functional and health upgrading: Food formulas place greater emphasis on nutritional effects, and snack ingredients are constantly expanded;
- Diversification and Systematic Development: Expanding from Single Products to Integrated Solutions, with Continuous Expansion of Segmented Categories and Application Scenarios;

03 | Innovation and Responsibility
Driven by Innovation, Moving Forward with Sustainability
As the industry enters a new stage of quality improvement and transformation, innovation and responsibility have become unavoidable keywords.
The CIPS Innovation Award will focus on showcasing the industry's latest innovative achievements, serving as an important window to observe industrial trends. This year's selection covers four categories: food, supplies, aquariums, and design, with reviews conducted by domestic and foreign experts and buyers. It not only emphasizes breakthroughs in technology and design but also values the feasibility of market application. The final award-winning products will be displayed centrally in the NEWⁿ New Product Showcase Zone, providing visitors with intuitive reference samples.

Meanwhile, the 3rd "Green Paw Print, Loving the Earth" sustainable development themed activity will continue to present specific practices of the industry's green transformation. Located on the "Pearl River Promenade" (a core traffic route), the exhibition area will showcase various cases including low-carbon processes, recycled materials, and responsible supply chains. This year's "Green Pioneer" enterprises will demonstrate the path of advancing environmental protection and industrial upgrading in parallel through tangible achievements. Leveraging the show's international influence, these stories will also be spread to the global market, serving as the industry's practical response to sustainability.

04 | Insights and Cutting-Edge Trends
Exchanges of Ideas, Joint Exploration of Trends
With changes in the global market, the industry needs more than just product displays—it requires exchanges of ideas and insights into trends.
The CIPIC International Pet Industry Convention will take "Infinite Connection, Infinite Development" as its theme, spanning a two-day agenda. On the first day, the focus will be on "industrial chain collaboration and innovation", exploring how to achieve cross-linkage and resource sharing from manufacturing and branding to retail. On the second day, the conference will center on "sustainable development and industry responsibility", with case-sharing sessions on ESG frameworks, traceability systems, and circular business models. The highlight of CIPIC lies in that it not only provides a macro strategic perspective but also combines practical implementation methods to help enterprises find paths to cope with the complex market.
▲ Review of the 1st Aquatic Industry Convention
The 2nd Aquatic Industry Convention will be co-hosted by the Ornamental Fish International (OFI), with the theme of "Seizing Opportunities in Adversity: Reform, Innovation, and Development Breakthroughs in the Aquarium Industry Under the Strategic Window of Globalization and Regionalization". The conference will cover dual perspectives of mature and emerging markets: it will include discussions on regulatory and retail adjustments in Europe and North America, as well as analysis of opportunities in fast-growing markets such as China, Vietnam, Brazil, and India. At the same time, discussions on high-value fish species, digital aquaculture, and fish health will provide practical insights for the future of the aquarium industry.
05 | Competitions and Stages
A Blend of Professionalism and Passion, with Over 30 Exciting Activities
During this year's show, China International Pet Show will present more than 30 international competitions and activities, covering three major sectors: pets, aquariums, and small & exotic pets.
In the pet sector, events such as the "PANGOL" Great Wall World Pet Grooming Conference and the World Purebred Cat Tour not only demonstrate professional standards but also enable the concentration of industry trends and skill exchanges on-site. In the aquarium sector, competitions like the "Great Wall Cup" World Ornamental Fish Championship (for arowanas, tigerfish, stingrays, goldfish, bettas, and killifish) and the "Great Wall Cup" International Aquarium Landscaping Four Major Competitions (including biotope aquascaping, international aquascaping, international marine landscaping, and international open landscaping competitions) serve as both stages for ornamental fish competitions and landscaping creativity, and important windows for popularizing aquarium culture. In the small & exotic pet sector, activities such as the Great Wall Exotic Pet Carnival and the Yuling Cup EPCC Parrot Breeding Exhibition will bring visitors fresh experiences and market-leading inspirations through interactive displays and category expansion.
