The ever-growing trend toward premium and superpremium non-medical pet products will spur the Canadian pet market to $9.2 billion by 2019, according to the 2015 Canadian Pet Market Outlook report.
Strong pet food sales, continued humanization trends and more all helped produce a market in 2014 with its highest growth in the last five years.
With a primary focus on products for dogs and cats, but also reviewing other small companion animals, the report also includes a historical and forecasted analysis of all pet product and service sales, as well as a breakout of the pet food, pet products, veterinary services and non-medical pet services categories.
