The CIPS International Aquascaping Contest (CIAC) was co-founded in 2016 by the Aquascaping Branch of the China Fisheries Association (abbreviated as CFAA) and CIPS, and officially launched in 2017. The organizers work together to bring aquascaping enthusiasts together, spark interest, and awaken passion. By holding aquascaping contests, they encourage every participant to keep innovating and surpass themselves, while also cultivating interest among non-participants and popularizing aquascaping knowledge. 

After nearly a decade of dedicated development, CIAC has always kept close to industry trends and continued to innovate and upgrade. As the 30th CIPS is grandly held, this year’s contest is themed “Journey Through Landscapes and Seas, Craftsmanship Across the World,” building a broader platform for display and exchange for aquascaping enthusiasts and professionals. The 2026 event specially adds two new sections: the Douyin Video Popularity Contest and the On-site Ground Aquascaping Invitational Contest.
