On November 16th, the four-day 29th China International Pet Show (CIPS 2025), concluded successfully at Area B of the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou.

The CIPS International Aquascaping Contest (CIAC) was co-founded by the Aquascaping Branch of China Fisheries Association and China Pet Show (CPS) in 2016 and officially launched in 2017. The organizers have been working together to bring aquarium aquascaping enthusiasts together, stimulate their interest and awaken their passion. Through the competition, every participant is encouraged to continuously innovate and surpass themselves; at the same time, it helps the public broaden their horizons on aquarium landscapes and popularize relevant knowledge.

The 2025 CIPS International Aquascaping Contest (CIAC) has set up four award categories, International Aquascaping Aquatic Group, Most Beautiful Aquatic Plant Group, Biotope Contest, and Open Landscape Contest. The total prize money of the event is as high as 100,000 RMB!

Before the award ceremony begins, there is a session for judges to review and comment on the winning works.

To enhance the interactive experience, 20 professional aquatic plant display tanks were specially set up in the center of the venue this year. On the opening day of the exhibition, on-site audiences were invited to participate in voting to jointly select the "Most Beautiful Aquatic Plants" in their minds. After public statistics and on-site witness, three display tanks stood out in the end and won the "Most Beautiful Aquatic Plants Excellence Award". This event successfully stimulated the audience's enthusiasm for appreciating aquatic plant aquascaping and pushed the public's aesthetic taste and cognition to a new height.

The ceremony also specially invited Zhao Yuming, the person in charge of the aquarium sector on Douyin, to present awards to content creators who have made outstanding contributions to promoting the culture of aquarium aquascaping.
