CIPS Unveils its 3rdTen Year Plan

Now being ranked as Asia’s #1 pet & aquarium trade show, CIPS will celebrate its 20 year anniversary with a major move: launching CIPS Global Ornamental Fish Championship. “When GIE started CIPS in 1997, our goal was to gather the small factories in China, guide them to start international trade, and build China into a global pet and aquarium products producing center. In the first decade, CIPS achieved this goal. In the next decade, we realize that China is growing into a major consuming market. CIPS’ goal in the 2nddecade is to educate our exhibitors on the potentials and requirements of China market. Facts have proved that our sharp perspective had brought huge benefits to our clients. We will celebrate 20 year anniversary in 2016. Our 3rd10-year plan will focus on promoting the breeding and farming technologies in this industry. One major move is to start CIPS Global Ornamental Fish Championship. We are confident that in three to five years, this event will become the top competition in the world. Breeding will motivate the industry and lead utility designs and production to the next level,” said Ms. Yang Cheng, President of GIE, CIPS’ organizer.

CIPS Championship Has Attracted Wide Attention

CIPS Championship consists of nice competitions: Betta, Guppy, Crystal Shrimp, Color Koi, Flower Horn, Goldfish, Discus, Stingray, and Dragon Fish. Visitors will see 2,000+ tanks onsite on 5000+ sqm exhibiting space.

Competing candidates are carefully selected and shipped to Guangzhou from all over the world.

Values of the Metals

The championship is organized by China Fisheries Association and GIE. More than 50 international associations and clubs have joined the project. 100+ judges/experts and 9 professional teams have started their work.

Meeting the Professionals

Aquatic exhibitors on CIPS ’16 have approached 500, another history high. Professionals from over 80 countries will get together on CIPS. With the concurrent consumer-targeted Petday China being held in the same facility, Nov. 10 to 13 will witness an industry feast.

PETDAY China is the first B2C series event in China. In 2016, it is held in four major cities: Beijing, Dalian, Nanjing & Guangzhou. The event is widely applauded both by the industry and fans. Its Guangzhou stop will be held in the same facility but separate halls.
