Given the current situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic in Guangzhou, China International Pet Show has decided to postpone its Nov. 17 to 20 show. The new date will be announced in a few weeks. This decision has been made after intensive discussion between CIPS and its nearly 700 exhibitors.

“The purpose of the exhibition is to promote business. Since Oct. 20, Guangzhou city government has tightened its COVID-19 control, we can see this would affect our Nov. show. Our team have called every exhibitor and listened to their opinions. We think it is the right decision to postpone the offline show to a later date when the situation in Guangzhou has bettered and traveling is easier for both domestic and international visitors. This is for the best interest of all parties involved”, said Mr. Jin Li, Chairman of China Great Wall International Exhibition, the organizer of CIPS. From Nov. 2022, the number of international flights is increasing gradually. We hope in the next few months, China will have easier international travelling policies, which can ensure the best results of the show.

Though its Nov. show has been postponed, CIPS team won’t stop its services. For international buyers, the online show platform (https://online.cipscom.com/) has grown from a 4-day supplements to a 365 platform. The online show website has more detailed tags for searching products and more accurate matching of exhibitors and buyers. In the meantime, CIPS will provide with point-to-point service anytime, whether clients want to get in touch with buyers, local representatives, or manufacturers. Online business matching has been held every month as well. CIPS is building up a year round connecting platform for industry, not limited to a 4-day show only.
