On Feb 24, 2021, the China Pet Industry Association (CPIA) and China International Pet Show (CIPS) have initiated the First National Pet Charity Seminar online with more than 10 charity organizations and hundreds of the Chinese enterprises with the theme of A Bright Future, with You, Me and Them. The launch of this seminar is aimed at creating a good social atmosphere of caring for pets and helping pet-related companies to actively practice their social responsibilities.

The National Pet Charity Seminar encourages the healthy development and common progress of the industry through various forms of pet charity activities, such as building pet-friendly cities, therapy dog companion program, pet industry research, pet industry Yearbook compilation, stray animal protection, pet culture broadcast, popularization of science about human pet comorbidities, publicity of civilized dog raising and harmless treatment of pet remains. 

The seminar received great attention from the society and will be held on February 22 every year as the Pet Charity Day.  Pet charity, we are together.
